CIE (Cambridge International Examination)
At EVA THANE we offer the CIE curriculum with a broad range of internationally
recognised qualifications.
The University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) is world's most popular
international qualification taken in over 160 countries.
The Cambridge International Education for 5 – 19 year olds is divided up into four stages:
Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP)
Secondary 1/ Checkpoint
Secondary 2/ IGCSE
Cambridge International A Levels
The CIE curriculum at EVA THANE
is enriched by our teachers offering personalised guidance and mentoring to our students. The
teachers at EVA THANE undergo regular training, attend seminars and conferences which
enable them to upgrade themselves in mark schemes, and examiner’s report etc.
The state-of-the-art facilities like the ICT Lab with supervised internet connectivity, the
Science and Math Labs, classrooms conducive to learning, and an open access to our well
equipped library facilitate the international curriculum of our academy. The Interactive
whiteboards and other audio-visual aids further supplement classroom teaching. These
facilities are in line with the CIE requirements.
We advocate a teaching approach based on positive achievement which is brought out
through a variety of teaching strategies like Teacher-led whole class learning, Group and
Individual work, Games and imaginative play, and Practical work. These strategies address
different learning styles, as well as the development of thinking skills, independence, risk-
taking and creativity. The Field trips and educational visits organised by the school offers an
experiential learning opportunity to our young scholars.
The CIE curriculum is enriched by these strategies which put the students of EVA THANE
Global at the core of the learning process.

Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP)
The CIPP curriculum of EVA THANE Global is based on the ideas, theories and practices
prevalent internationally. It is a comprehensive provision for teaching, learning and
assessment in the core subjects for children aged between 5 to 11 years.
The Primary Programme covers the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science,
developing essential skills in literacy, numeracy and scientific enquiry while covering a good
knowledge base. While at the periphery, the students receive instruction in national and
foreign languages, Information technology and creative art, thus completing the continuum of
holistic development.
